Can I manage multiple children?

Yes! The Premium plan supports up to 3 child profiles, and the Family plan offers unlimited children. Each child gets their own personalized dashboard, tasks, and progress tracking.

How does the reward system work?

Children earn points by completing tasks, maintaining streaks, and reaching goals. Parents can create custom rewards (like screen time or treats) that kids can redeem with their points.

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Yes, you can cancel anytime from your account settings. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period, and you won't be charged again.

Terms of Service — KidsFocus

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the KidsFocus application ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are a parent or guardian registering on behalf of a child, you confirm that you have the legal authority to do so and accept these Terms on their behalf. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

2. Service Description

KidsFocus is a gamified productivity and wellness application designed for young children with ADHD. The Service provides task management, focus timers, health tracking, AI-powered coaching, gamification features, and a parent dashboard. The Service is intended to support, not replace, professional medical advice or treatment for ADHD.

3. Accounts and Registration

You must be at least 18 years of age to create a parent account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Child profiles are created and managed exclusively by the parent or guardian account holder.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and child profiles.
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Child Access Links

Parents may generate a permanent access link for their child to use the Service independently. You are responsible for the security of these links and for supervising how they are shared. You acknowledge that anyone with the access link can view and interact with the child's profile within the app. You may deactivate any access link at any time through the parent dashboard. We are not liable for any unauthorised access resulting from shared links.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

The Service offers free and paid subscription tiers. Details of features available at each tier are described on our pricing page.
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. All prices are displayed in Australian dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
Refunds are handled in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

6. Gift Card Rewards

The Service allows children to earn Stars that may be redeemed for gift card rewards (such as Roblox or Xbox gift cards), subject to parental approval and payment. Gift card purchases are non-refundable once the digital code has been delivered. Gift card availability, denominations, and pricing are subject to change and depend on third-party provider (Reloadly) availability. We are not responsible for any issues with third-party gift card redemption or use.

7. AI Features

The Service includes AI-powered features such as coaching suggestions, task recommendations, and progress insights. These features are provided for informational and motivational purposes only. AI-generated content should not be considered medical, psychological, or educational advice. The accuracy and suitability of AI outputs cannot be guaranteed. Parents should review AI interactions and use their own judgement regarding their child's needs.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its systems
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
Share access links publicly or with individuals who are not intended recipients
Use the Service to collect or harvest personal information of other users
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service (including but not limited to design, graphics, text, software, and branding) are owned by KidsFocus and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our prior written consent.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
KidsFocus is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. It is designed as a supportive tool and should be used alongside professional ADHD management strategies.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.
We are not responsible for the accuracy of AI-generated content or suggestions.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KidsFocus shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Australian Consumer Law.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice. You may terminate your account at any time through the settings page. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of material changes via email and in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
